Connecticut’s largest COVID-19 vaccine provider, Community Health Center, Inc. (CHC), today administered its 300,000th vaccine dose at its clinic at 19 Grand St., Middletown. Edward Cho of Middletown received the milestone dose.
With the state’s most active drive-through mass vaccination sites in Danbury, Stamford, Middletown and East Hartford, as well as daily pop-up mobile clinics providing vaccine access to underserved communities, CHC is administering tens of thousands of shots each week.
With all people 16 years and over now eligible for vaccination, CHC is working with high schools, school districts, and colleges and universities statewide to accommodate students at dedicated events, allowing the state’s youth to end their school year on a hopeful note and look forward to a more normal summer.
“Now that the Governor is lifting all COVID restrictions on May 19, we’re here to help people get vaccinated quickly at our sites statewide,” said Mark Masselli, CHC Founder/CEO. “With CHC’s combination of mass vaccination sites, hyper-local neighborhood clinics, and thousands of students coming to us for the vaccine, we see light at the end of the tunnel.”
Community Health Center, Inc. has vaccine appointments available at its mass vaccination sites. Most locations are open 7-days per week, 8:30-4:00 and appointments are required. For more information, visit www.chc1.com.
